– says Dr. Rosh Khan, as he launches another ‘Entrepreneurship master class’By Kiana WilburgBringing a lucrative and consequential idea to life is every entrepreneur’s aim. But theDr. Khan shares some tips with his students.sad reality is that if you lack the knowledge and the right strategy, then all of your energies and investment could be in vain.To help quell the uncertainties and fears in this regard, a young but relatively experienced businessman, Dr. Rosh Khan has developed a special Entrepreneurship master class that is designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the perfect toolkit that will make many business plans successful.Dr. Khan, a medical graduate-turned internet entrepreneur has launched, developed, and invested in businesses worldwide. He currently lives in Guyana and has both international and local clients. He teaches entrepreneurship around the world, and has done so more recently here. Although he taught much of this in the USA,Frank Bagnack Jersey, his desire to host the master class series is based on a call made by President David Granger who urged last year, that there was a need for more entrepreneurs in the nation.GETTING STARTEDIn his interview with Kaieteur News, Khan,Edson Puch Chile Jersey, the owner of Social Rank Media, expressed that there is a hunger in Guyana to succeed.“Resourceful Guyanese want to take control of their destiny and serve the world in that process. ?And although there are those that start, they either plateau or fail. Why? Perhaps it’s because they lack the right knowledge and strategy, and it’s for this very reason that I’ve launched the Entrepreneurship master class.”Five of the participants during a display at one of the interactive sessions.“As someone who has been consulting with brands and mentoring entrepreneurs around the world, it’s high-time that we apply some of the strategies right here in Guyana, of course taking into consideration the local context.”The young entrepreneur is of the belief that there is no reason why Guyana needs to be left behind while the rest of the world is making leaps and bounds in this area. With enough successful entrepreneurs in Guyana, Dr. Khan intimated that the nation can become not only the catalyst of development for the Caribbean but the world over.INSIDE THE MASTER CLASS In his specially designed master class, Dr. Khan relates that a number of topics are covered. He said that these include Business Fundamentals, Leadership, Idea Generation, Sales,Adrian Ortola Jersey, Marketing, Business Law Essentials, Accounting and Customer Service.He noted that understanding these very fundamental principles in a highly interactive and exciting environment help to make aspiring entrepreneurs more versatile in the business world and equipped to handle the challenges and hard work that lie ahead.Dr. Khan then gave a brief explanation of the various subjects which are discussed during his Entrepreneurship master class.He emphasised that without effective leadership, companies are rudderless. Through training and activities, we teach you how to develop this unique skill of generating fresh ideas.”In addition to this, Dr. Khan said that regardless of what platform one uses to market an item or service, whether through traditional or digital media platforms, key elements must be in place to draw attention and increase desire.“We conduct training exercises that emphasize the importance of buyer psychology, and the science of finding your target audience and immediately grabbing their attention, so they walk into your store, pick up the phone to call you, or message you online.”With regard to sales,?the Social Rank Media CEO said that this is the lifeblood of any business. He explained that the master class is ideal for ensuring that entrepreneurs grasp the fundamentals of ensuring high sales.“Our training activities walk you through how to quickly achieve sales, how to create tiered pricing models, and how to maintain high customer retention rates. We also explain how you can maximize customer lifetime value (that is, leveraging the power of upsells, downsells, and cross sells throughout the lifetime of the customer).”As it relates to Business Systems, Dr. Khan explained that every process in a business should be ‘systemized’ and ‘templatized’. ?He said that there is no reason for one to keep making the same mistakes. He stressed that with systems come efficiency and with efficiency comes savings and increased margins. He added that some examples of business systems that his class helps to create include operational systems, lead generation systems, and customer service systems.Dr. Khan added that the subject of Business Law Essentials is equally important. He said that for one to run a successful business, one must be on the right side of the law. He opined that many entrepreneurs today are violating laws without even realising it. ?With his class, he demonstrates to attendees how to ensure they are filing the relevant documents and how to create legal agreements with their team members, vendors,Ivan Rakitic Barcelona Jersey, and suppliers.Additionally, he said that if one does not understand how money flows in and out of their own business, then it is similar to driving with your eyes closed. With his class, he said that entrepreneurs are taught how to create a profit and loss statement and how to “run numbers” for upcoming ventures they may be thinking about or planning.But while all of the aforementioned topics are salient, Dr. Khan says that the one element that pulls it all together beautifully is premium customer service. The executive argued that no entity can operate successfully without taking care of the very people that keep them in business. Through fun activities, he said that his class allows for participants to delve into the importance of customer service and how to ensure it is at world-class levels.SUCCESSFUL SESSIONSDr. Khan related that his most recent session which ended last week was “absolutely fantastic” as some of the 25 attendees were already seeing positive changes in their businesses.“Participants have called it ‘transformational’, ‘life-changing’ and ‘mind-blowing.’ And in addition to the testimonials from the first master class, we have testimonials from attendees of the most recent session this month and that the programme was not even finished.”Joyce Sullivan, owner of?Buttercup Day Care, was one of the persons who attended the Entrepreneurship master class and was particularly impressed.“Since attending just two training sessions, I have implemented the ‘Urgency’ method inspired by Dr. Rosh Khan which brought in $60,000 in a single day. I also started my ‘Birthdays in a Snap’ business on Facebook that received over $10,000 in five days,Marcelo Diaz Chile Jersey, saved thousands on pictures taken for Graduations, and I started three promotions for the Day Care. I am energized and motivated in my business and I am taking my staff along with me for a great future all because of this master class.”Dr. Khan noted that while formal training sessions ended on March 19, last, there would be follow-up exercises in the form of six months of support and one-on-one mentorship.The businessman noted that the next Entrepreneurship master class is scheduled to start on April 16 and registration will be commencing shortly.“We will run one every other month. That is, six programmes per year. And we are currently considering taking it to Berbice and Linden.
