“Tagman CEO, Alex Graham, has provided services to the PPP/C government free of charge upon request…”The management of prominent local Public Relations firm,Jeff Beukeboom Rangers Jersey, Tagman,Angel Pagan Giants Jersey, said yesterday that the entity is a? professional media firm, which has a constitutional right to work for whomever so requests without discrimination based on politics.The firm expressed surprise at a statement from the People’s Progressive Party/Civic which accused it of being a partisan public relations outfit.This is in light of the company being contracted by the Guyana elections commission to operate its media centre for the upcoming general elections.The PPP/C’s main contention is the fact that Tagman had done public relations work for A Partnership for National Unity, APNU, one of the contesting parties for the elections.The public Relations Firm in a statement issued yesterday admitted that it has developed some products for the APNU and is also in the process of setting up the GECOM Media Centre.According? to Tagman,Frank Bagnack Jersey, this is the third consecutive election where it has been asked to produce products by opposition parties and run the GECOM Media Centre.“In both of the previous instances, though we worked for opposition parties and ran the Media Centre for the elections results, the PPP/C’s winning of those elections is convincing proof that Tagman has no influence or interaction with the counting or arrival of the results announced in the Media Centre,” the Tagman statement said.Announcements are made by the Chief Elections Officer, press conferences are conducted by the Chairman of the Guyana Elections Commission and the results displayed are handled by a third party contractor who graphically displays results that are securely delivered by and from the GECOM Data Centre.The Public Relations firm said that it merely provides a service that is professionally delivered to whoever wishes to purchase its services.“For example, in 1997 we provided design services for the PPP/C, the TUF, and the PNC/R. Since then we have never been asked by the PPP/C to provide services but we would today if we are asked.
